Secret Cause of: Fire in Chittagong EPZ factory, Bangladesh!!

The devastating fire occurred at 1 number gate in the EPZ area of Chittagong on 23th May in a factory named "Unity Accessory". The fire mainly took place at 7.30pm in the evening after the iftar. After the fire, it was informed to the Fire Service Control Room of Agrabad.

After getting the news, 13 vehicles of 4 units had reached instantaneously on the spot. The fire was burning tremendously on the 4th and 5th floor. Observing the situation one more fire service unit also joined to control the fire. After a three and half hour effort, the fire was under controlled at about 10 pm, informed Fire Service's co-director, Jasim Uddin. He also added that the fifth floor of the burnt totally.

But how did the fire originate, it's unknown to all because the factory was closed on Thursday. there was no worker on the factory at that time. As it was an export processing zone, there were more factories, garments, markets and shops around the burnt factory. It is feared that those buildings may be damaged by this occurrence. The eager crowd, police and volunteer workers all were tried to control the fire.

The factory owner and other workers were busy to maintain the situation. Hence, they were not able to give any information about the originate of the fire. Notwithstanding, they assure that they will investigate the matter after the fire controlled. And it's the latest news about the fire of EPZ in Chittagong.
